Why ChristmasLights.london

The magic is
in the details.

The lights are what you notice. The care behind them is what makes the difference: how they're fixed, how they're powered and the ideas that bring them to life.

01 / Discreet by design

Fixings that stay.
Lights that steal the show.

Frame windows and building outlines with secure, discreet mounts that can stay in place year round. From white stucco to brickwork, we choose fixings and finishes that blend into the building while giving the lights dependable support.

When the decorations come down, the mounting points remain ready for next Christmas. We agree the fixing method with you, taking the façade and any restrictions into account.

02 / Care behind the sparkle

Don't let liability
ruin Christmas.

A beautiful display deserves a properly planned installation. We follow relevant UK industry guidance and the BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, using safety extra-low-voltage (SELV) lighting wherever passers-by or children can reach it.

Extra-low voltage doesn't mean less impressive. It means choosing the right lighting system for the setting, with care given to the supply, connections and cable routes. All the festive cheer, with safety built into the design.

The practical details
03 / A little less ordinary

Something you won't
see on every street.

We keep up with new developments and work with specialist suppliers around the world. Our trade accounts open up a wider choice: from flagpole Christmas trees in 3–12 metre sizes to moving firefly lights that bring a garden to life.

A striking centrepiece, a playful detail or something quietly magical. We help you find the right idea, then work through the space, support and power it needs.

04 / More hands to call on

Festive specialists.
A much wider skill set.

As part of the London Infrastructure Solutions partnership, we can draw on a broader network of trades, from qualified electricians to network and Wi-Fi engineers.

Whether your display needs a suitable power supply, reliable controls or connected lighting, we bring the right people together. Practical expertise behind a little Christmas imagination.

How we plan a safer installation

We use suitably isolated SELV systems for accessible lighting and select equipment for its outdoor location. Mains supplies and connections still need appropriate protection and positioning. We plan electrical loading, RCD protection, cable routes, secure fixings and access, with competent electrical installation, inspection and testing appropriate to the work.

Our approach follows the relevant guidance in the Institution of Lighting Professionals' PLG06 on seasonal decorations, the current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, and Electrical Safety First's Christmas lighting advice. Manufacturer instructions and any building or asset-owner requirements also form part of the plan.

There is no one kind of Christmas

What's your
kind of magic?

Warm and golden. Colourfully nostalgic. A little woodland wonder. From a 3-metre flagpole tree to a 12-metre centrepiece, or moving firefly lights among the planting: start with a feeling, and we'll explore the possibilities.

Cherry red, golden yellow and a little icy blue. Christmas with a cheerful wink.

Just a little inspiration. Yours will be unique.

A bright idea. A little planning.

You bring the wish.
We bring the twinkle.

We'll talk through your space, your ideas and the practical bits, so your Christmas lighting feels considered from the start.

  1. 1

    Tell us your idea

A front door, an entire frontage or a whole garden square. Tell us where, what you love and when you'd like the lights on.

  2. 2

    Make a little plan

We'll discuss the look, power, access and fixings, then agree the scope and quote. No need to have every detail worked out.

  3. 3

    Let it glow

Arrange your installation and enjoy the transformation. We can include seasonal removal in the plan, leaving any agreed permanent mounting points ready for next year.

A few little details

Good things
to know.

What sort of spaces do you light?

We specialise in exterior Christmas lighting: rooflines, façades, entrances, trees, front gardens and shared grounds. Our clients include homeowners, shops, residential estates, schools, hospitality venues and garden square committees across Central London.

Can the mounts stay up all year?

Yes. We can install discreet, secure mounting points that remain when the seasonal lights come down. Fixings and finishes are selected to suit the building, including white stucco and brickwork. We agree their position and method with you, and account for any façade or listed-building restrictions.

Does extra-low voltage mean a less impressive display?

No. Brightness and the overall effect depend on the lighting system and design, not simply its supply voltage. We use safety extra-low-voltage (SELV) systems for lights within reach of the public, while planning the mains supply, outdoor connections and cable routes with the same care.

Can you source something unusual?

That is part of the fun. Our international supplier network includes flagpole Christmas trees in 3–12 metre sizes and moving firefly lights, alongside other distinctive features. Tell us what has caught your eye and we will explore suitable options for your space.

Can you help if I only have a rough idea?

Absolutely. A description of the space, your postcode and an idea of the feeling you'd like are a good start. We can discuss suitable lighting, the layout and practical details from there.

Can you work with lights I already own?

Let us know what you have, where you'd like to use it and whether it has been used outdoors before. We'll discuss whether it is suitable for the proposed installation before agreeing the work.

What affects the cost?

The size and layout of the space, the lights you choose, installation access, available power and the work involved. We'll agree a quote for your particular project.

What about trees and period buildings?

Tell us about any sensitive features, restrictions or access requirements at the outset. We'll discuss how the display can be supported and fixed as part of planning your installation.

Do you take everything down afterwards?

We can discuss removal as part of your project. Tell us your preferred dates so the arrangements and any associated cost can be included in your quote.

Let's put a little magic on the map

What shall
we light up?

Tell us a little about your space and what you have in mind. A rough idea is absolutely fine.
